The Open Heaven Daily Devotional - October 28th 2026 - Help From Heaven II

Devotional Summary

• Angelic Assistance: Following up on part one, today's message focuses on how God utilizes ministering spirits (angels) to guide, direct, and help heirs of salvation.

• The Example of Philip: In the Bible reading (Acts 8:26–40), an angel of the Lord gave Philip specific instructions to leave Samaria and go toward the desert way leading from Jerusalem to Gaza.

• Divine Connection: Because Philip obeyed the angelic and spiritual directive promptly, he encountered the Ethiopian eunuch, leading to a major evangelistic breakthrough.

• Takeaway: God still dispatches His angels today to give specific directions and supernatural assistance when believers are sensitive and obedient to His voice.
