The Open Heavens Daily Devotional 25th October 2026 - "Always Seek His Help"

Key Details

• Memory Verse: "In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." — Proverbs 3:6 (KJV)
• Bible Reading: Psalm 118:5–14

Summary & Core Message

• Acknowledge Dependence: The devotional highlights that God is the ultimate Burden Bearer, but He waits for His children to recognize their limitations and cry out to Him rather than forcing His help upon them.

• Humility vs. Pride: Self-sufficiency and pride keep people struggling under heavy loads and needless pain, whereas true humility leads to divine guidance and deliverance.

• Trusting God Over Man: Drawing from Psalm 118, the message emphasizes that it is far better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in human beings or princes. When compassed about by challenges or enemies, calling upon the Lord brings rescue, strength, and a "large place" of victory.
